Taekwondo Championship Achievement Report

Vandya International School is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its students at the 2nd Meghalaya Open Taekwondo Championship and 1st State Level Taekwondo Championship (Kyorugi & Poomsae), held at Laban Sports Club from 15th to 17th May 2026.

Our students showcased remarkable determination, discipline, and sportsmanship while competing against participants from various schools and academies.

*Achievements *
• Jonak Jiwan Das of Grade IV-A secured the Silver Medal in the Sub-Junior Boys Under-25 kg Weight Category.
• Nirvan Siotia of Grade IV-B secured the Bronze Medal in the Sub-Junior Boys Under-21 kg Weight Category.
• Pranavii Siotia of Grade II-A secured the Gold Medal in the Below 8 Years Girls Under-15 kg Weight Category.

These achievements reflect the students’ hard work, dedication, and consistent training under the guidance of the school’s Sports Department and Taekwondo coach.

We are thrilled to announce that Vandyans have won two gold medals from The 6th Annual National Martial Arts Games 2024.

Pranavii Siotia from Upper KG won the gold medal in the under 15kg weight category for 5-year-old girls.

Nirvan Siotia from Grade 2B also secured a gold medal in the under 18kg weight category for Sub-Junior Boys (8 years).
